Oatmeal Raisin Chocolate
Cookies
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup softened butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
3/4 cup raisins
3/4 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350.
Sift flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamoninto a medium bowl and set aside
In a stand mixer, cream butter and sugars on medium speed for several until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla until combined.
Add flour mixture and mix on low just to combine. Stir in oats, raisins, and chocolate chips.
Scoop out tablespoon-sized balls of dough. Place on cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 12-14 minutes, rotating cookie sheets halfway through. The cookies are done when golden.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
I will definitely be making these again! The whole family loved them so they will probably be back in the house soon :)
