Hello people! This weekend was super fun for me, we stayed home for the holiday but I had two amazing friends come over on Sunday so it was of course lots of fun :)

Inspired Tuesday May 15th + 12 of 12!

For those of you who don't know what 12 of 12 is here is a little explanation: On the 12th day of every month you take a picture every hour for 12 hours and then share them (or not) wherever you want! I personally think it is lots of fun and so I'm glad Megan inspired me to do it! Here is my day at a soccer tournament in picture form...

1. Starting out the day with some sunny but very cold weather :)

2. Soccer warm ups for one of two teams.

3. Half time for my game, we tied 1-1.

4. On the way to another field to watch another game and do a little babysitting!

5. Going to eat before championship game.

6. Warming up for championship game.

7. Some after game love with a best friend opponent, 

they won 3--1! Can you guess whether I'm in green or red?

8. Some after game ice cream.

9. Grocery shopping for mothers day dinner.

10. I don't like asparagus but this is my picture for this hour!

11. Finally eating! We made some awesome burgers and got tater puffs.

12. Strawberries for dessert because I didn't have enough energy to make cookies.

First up we have Cathie from Toddlers Through Preschool. Last week she blogged about a book she reads to the kids and some fun activities to do with it. I really enjoyed this post because this particular book (Jamberry) is one of the only English books that I read to my kids on a regular basis. It is one of our favorite reads. Next up we have Bethany from Before, During and After and she blogged about doing Crossfit during pregnancy. I kind of has to say, that is crazy! But in a good way. I say good for her, and very inspiring post! Seriously, go check out this post!

Inspired Tuesday ~ May 6th

Can you all believe that it is May already! I can't. The weather hasn't helped with that either, we are still getting frost in the morning a couple times a week!

I know each week I usually feature a blog or two that linked up the previous week. This week I am taking a break from that because I have something I really want to share with you.

Some of you may or may not know that I am a blog designer, some of you even took my Blog Design eCourse. However due to exciting things happening in my life I just no longer have time to do blog designs for others, so I am no longer taking additional clients.

However... one of my eCourse students has taken the leap and started her own blog design business. I want to introduce you to J9 Designs:

I can not say enough how proud I am to have one of my eCourse students take what they learned from me to the next level. She offers a variety of services and designs for both Blogger and WordPress.

Twisty Oak

Hello hello! OH my goodness yesterday was SO nice (finally!)! It got up into the very low 60's and even though the sun barely peeked out it was glorious outside. We actually got to the point where we were wearing shorts and tank tops and flip flops like it was actually summer, even though it really isn't yet. Then here we are on Tuesday and it is supposed the rain (maybe even a little snow :O) here and there and is in the low 40's. But then... *drum roll........* starting tomorrow, we will have: 

AHH, it is a miracle! We are officially like coming out of the cold grey stone age or something. But anyway, picture time from sunny Saturday...

I think oaks may be my favorite kind of tree, all cool and twisty and huge. I kind of see it like a halloween tree like its going to come to life and scare little kids (okay okay sorry for the image!)? But anyway, I could probably take like a million pictures of this kind of tree :)

Texture Tuesday

This week my celebration was that we had a sunny day for the first time in over a week! We were literally cooped up inside because of rain and ugly clouds. It was icky outside! So to celebrate I scooped some poo (some neighbors horses were naughty!) and went and took lots of pictures of the only green around here, the pine trees. Take a look!

I am sorry this post is running a bit late. We are in the final push of finishing up the photography studio, and honestly I kind of forgot to do this post last night! Oopps... I am sure my lovely co-hosts are more than ready for me to get settled and get them this post on time :) Love you girls.

Texture Wednesday

So it has been raining for the past couple days, it sucks. Everyone is cooped up inside with cabin fever driving each other crazy. Especially us girls being loud and slightly obnoxious. Then last night we get an ice storm it is really cool yet not good because everything is coated in ice and looks totally cool and makes for some awesome pictures (come back tomorrow to see them!) but trees are falling over which is not too awesome. Pastel Texture Tuesday

Hello all! If you haven't read my Sunday post yet I would really appreciate it if you did...

On another note, how was your Easter?? I as usual ate to much candy. For the last couple years my mom has been putting out candy in those really big yogurt containers and then myd ad hides them in really hard to find spots. This year mine was in the vacuum. It was squeezed in there so tight that when I finally managed to open it my candy exploded out and was all over the place. I still ate it.
