Chipping + I have failed

I haven't posted since Thursday... I totally told myself that I was going to post everyday last week and I was off to a good start, I posted 3 whole days in a row but then I got lazy again. SO for like 3 weeks I have been a lazy blogger barely posting...oops? Oh yeah and I have officially skipped 3 whole weeks of scavenger hunt sunday. I actually took all of the pictures I needed for this last week but since I was in the middle of another soccer tournament I never ever got around to it. I was going to post it yesterday but then...I didn't. But, I will do it this week. I have to or else it will be an all time fail.

This was one of my pictures for the hunt as the prompt was 'fence' which obviously this was perfect for.

So I think I have a recipe for tomorrows post, chocolate pancakes I think, and they just happen to be vegan. Even though I'm not into vegan stuff. But I will post this week! Everyday! I think!

A Hint Of Color + An Interview With Scarlett

Here I am writing this...and I am seriously considering letting little Scarly write this post for me because I don't really feel like writing it, and because I think it would kind of awesome to have her do that. So I am going to try and have a conversation with her and I will type it all out so you guys can either laugh at it in either a good way or a bad way, your choice.

Me: Scarly, why are you throwing kitchen utensils around the kitchen?
S: Bobby bitz! Aht. Deb da dey! Boop! *screams*

Me: Scarly, why did you just stick your tounge out at me?
S: Woah! Gravel! Va voo. Da me.

Me: Scarly, why do you like Dora?
S: Mm. Bee. DORA!!! Uh oh.

Me: Scarly! Where are you going? Don't play with those rubber fishies that have hooks on them!
S: Mm bat de do de do baba time. Ooh way way, ooh way way. *gurgle*
A bay ty. Wha?

Thank you Scarly for that...wonderful...and charming...interview. Yes you can go play with the dora toys now.

Whew, now that thats over I can officially catch up on my 836 blogs that I haven't barely read in a week. Or i could just go outside...and do something since its actually warm out.

Poppin Blooms...not really

I didn't think I would be able to post today since our internet was down for hours and hours (literally like 4 whole hours) but its back thank goodness. I mean I had 24 whole emails to read, how do you think makes me feel? No different then usual as none of them were life changing unless you count mother day sales that I don't take advantage of. Anyway, if any of you were wondering about the results of the soccer tournament this weekend...we got first place! I actually scored like 2-3 minutes into the game, which almost beats my record for fastest goal scoring in a game. And combining all my goals from Saturday and Sunday I scored 7 and got 3 assists. But...picture time.

Then last night (Monday) I had a another game that we won (we won, but it was nothing close to pretty soccer) and after the game I jumped as high as I possibly could to get some of these blooms off  a tree so I could take pictures for today. I actually had my little sister write POP on my hand in sharpie so I could remember to take pictures for the prompt, and I think this is POP worthy so yay! Oh and no I have no idea what kind of tree these are from.

Some of you may know that I am going on a mini vacation for the rest of the week (we won a two night stay at a huge water park/hotel!) but I plan on scheduling a post for tomorrow and Friday. On Thursday I really suggest you come by 'cause I have a special guest post lined up :)

Tree Buds

Hello people! Since the prompt for Texture Tuesday is wise words I was contemplating being really sarcastic and saying things like "When using a hammer, don't hammer the nail through you're hand" and stuff like that and I actually still really want to so that is what I am doing. If you don't like it...well then go use that hammer (I'M KIDDING, jeez.).

Something you should not do when babysitting a toddler is leave her alone for more then 10 seconds. If your toddler is anything like the one I am babysitting as soon as you leave she will tear stuff apart. But I personally find it so cute when she shrieks with glee over throwing things everywhere that I just let her do it and then clean it up.

Something you should do when you realize you don't have pictures for todays post is to have your sister take them for you because the lady you are babysitting for is waiting outside in the driveway so you don't have time to take them (I actually did try taking the pictures myself but my sisters camera doesn't like me and didn't work so I had her do it and then email me the pictures.).

Another thing you should do when babysitting is take them to the park in almost 80 degree weather (or not) so she can play play play and then come home and take a nap because she is so tired.

I hope you enjoyed my wise words! Or not!

Twisty Oak

Hello hello! OH my goodness yesterday was SO nice (finally!)! It got up into the very low 60's and even though the sun barely peeked out it was glorious outside. We actually got to the point where we were wearing shorts and tank tops and flip flops like it was actually summer, even though it really isn't yet. Then here we are on Tuesday and it is supposed the rain (maybe even a little snow :O) here and there and is in the low 40's. But then... *drum roll........* starting tomorrow, we will have:

AHH, it is a miracle! We are officially like coming out of the cold grey stone age or something. But anyway, picture time from sunny Saturday...

I think oaks may be my favorite kind of tree, all cool and twisty and huge. I kind of see it like a halloween tree like its going to come to life and scare little kids (okay okay sorry for the image!)? But anyway, I could probably take like a million pictures of this kind of tree :)

Texture Tuesday

This week my celebration was that we had a sunny day for the first time in over a week! We were literally cooped up inside because of rain and ugly clouds. It was icky outside! So to celebrate I scooped some poo (some neighbors horses were naughty!) and went and took lots of pictures of the only green around here, the pine trees. Take a look!

You can see in the background that there is green and blue! Yay for some color!

Pastel Texture Tuesday

Hello all! If you haven't read my Sunday post yet I would really appreciate it if you did...

On another note, how was your Easter?? I as usual ate to much candy. For the last couple years my mom has been putting out candy in those really big yogurt containers and then myd ad hides them in really hard to find spots. This year mine was in the vacuum. It was squeezed in there so tight that when I finally managed to open it my candy exploded out and was all over the place. I still ate it.

Texture Tuesday...

Hello! I hit 80 followers today, thank you so much to my new and older followers!
If you haven't already I would love for you to link up with Inspired Tuesday Week 5.
And I do hope you will come back tomorrow for not one, but two recipes! Anywho, on to the picture!

I needed a little spring today, so this is from my archives, spring last year. This is just what I want to see when I look outside. What I am really seeing in cold weather with some snow, ick.
