Robins are my favorite bird (besides chickens!) because my big sister is so deathly scared of them. Like today she asked me to come outside with her so I could scare the robin on the nest away so she could take a picture or 12 but I told her to go and face her fears and do it herself and it turns out she did, kind of. She actually got our little sister to help her. Shame on you sister, for not being able to deal with birds by yourself!
Anyway, when it comes to little birds I am not the kind of person to freak out...or am I?
So because I am not scared of little birds I am able to get pictures without screaming bloody murder. So, sister, if you are reading this please comment letting me know if this makes me cooler then you. Danke.

I love the blue of Robin eggs. Personally, I try to stay as clear as I can from the nests in the event the parent bird does a whole fe-fi-fo-fum I smell the blood of a human, and abandons the eggs.
Stunning photo. I love how the blue eggs stand out against the brown/straw background. Love it! (and, I guess feel obligated to add that I might have been scared to "shoo" a mama bird...)
You are brave! Love this image. I don't think I've ever seen robin eggs in real life!
Beautiful photo, and I'm not afraid of birds, or snakes, or.... I might have had to wait til momma was hungry I would hate for her to not come back, I would feel bad. I had to resort to baby blue Easter peanut M&M's for my eggs, haha!
Nice eggs! I would love to,find a Robin's nest. We have a pair hanging around our yard. I imagine there must be a nest around. So funny that your sister is scared of birds. Is there a backstory?
