Hei! When I found about 4 Photo Ways from Nina I was SO excited. I don't really do any self portraits and so it was a perfect opportunity for me to practice! Also you might notice that my face is not in any of them...my mom just so happens to be very wary about letting us put our faces all over the internet so its a no no for me! Although I definitely would, she is a bit of a butt (kidding? mom if you are reading this, you know I stay stuff like this all the time even though I don't mean it, sometimes.) so this is what you get! And if I do say so myself I got a little bit of creativity going on :)
If you had driven by while I was doing this you would probably stop and ask if I was having seizures. At least that is what I imagine. I set up my tripod and a 10 second timer and since I have no since of time whatsoever I was literally jumping around like crazy for 10 seconds over and over. It wasn't a pretty sight but it was definitely fun!
And then for this one I was standing in our road (only like 3 cars go down our road per hour!) and spinning, running, jumping and twirling while taking tons of photos and hoping I got lucky. Which I think I did!
You may already know that I love my curly red hair (please note that the red hair is not natural. I love dying my hair.) so that means I take pictures of it, I'm cool like that.
Once again, I'm in the road. I think this counts even though I didn't take it, my big sister did. She also got a awesome (seriously awesome) photo of my mid burp! I almost never burp so it was a good moment to document.
Oh and hey, isn't my purple tie-dye skirt awesome? I got it as a hand-me-down and love it! Also there is in fact lilac purple in it so it counts for the Nurture Photography challenge prompt, right?
I hope you enjoyed visiting! I love new followers... *wink wink*

It is always a good thing to grow with your photography!! They are lovely photos!
There is only about one photo of me for about every thousand I take.. so I am definitely not photographed much, and definitely looking forward to this fun challenge!
I love your shadow shot, Yolanda, and even though it would be fun to put a smiling face you your name, I think the privacy preserving shots are very intriguing & artistic. Well done! The first one is lots of fun, too, especially with your story to add the visual. :)
Love the shadow shot!
I love your self-portraits. Yolanda! The joy of spring, life and living seems to be popping out of your pictures right in our living room - lovely! Such an artistic touch in them - the grey, faded, naturally muted background of the trees makes your beautiful red hair and purple outfit stand out. The shadow works so well ... Thank you for linking to our 4 ways!
Nina
My favorite is the shadow - but the skirt is totally rockin (am I allowed to say that?? - actually I should say it is "cool", I believe that is what my son said I should limit my hip vocabulary to). Oh, and you have beautiful red hair - if I had red hair I would photograph it in some fashion often.
Very cool self portraits and skirt :). Your happiness shows through your photos. Thank you for sharing them at our ready to waltz party!
These are great self portraits Yolanda! I love the shadow one and the last one with your beautiful hair!
Thanks so much for linking up to the Nurture Photography Challenge!
What wonderful and fun self-portraits! I think you have a pretty good mom to be cautious. :-)
Love them all, but especially love the shadow. Thanks for playing along.
The shadow-dancing one is my favorite, too.
These are fantastic! You were obviously having a great time - it really comes through in your pictures. Thanks so much for joining along with our challenge. Your images are inspiring.
