Okay picture time.
I realized that when planning this post that it would mean easter eggs two days in a row which I really didn't want to do. But since we don't have yellow here yet, I didn't have much of a choice.
Instead of doing full on black and white I did focal black and white, so there was still color.
I'm not really sure if I like it or not. But I'm working on it :)
So, any black and white tips?

Looks great! I've just gotten better at doing more editing. Love the focal points, you chose great spots!
I really love black and white conversions because they can really make a powerful image.
Thanks so much for joining us in the Nurture Photography Challenge! One great black and white photography tip would be to look for great contrasts in light and dark. Play with shadows and light to really create drama and make your subject stand out. :)
only advice i have? shoot, shoot, shoot... and then shoot some more ;)
loved the focal point for your color

I would have been inclined to add b/w but at a low opacity so that it was less selective color, more muted color. But it is interesting none-the-less. Some people convert to b/w and it is "brilliant"; too often I feel when I go that route it is "oh, okay, I guess that is nice". In short - keep practicing with it until it feels right. Even failures are art - Picasso could not have intentionally planned his art to look like that, right? He probably screwed up, everyone said "wow" and he figured, what the heck. Viola!
Hi Yolanda, the black and white background makes the colored eggs pop out - love the little shiny decoration in one of the eggs!
i like how the selective color directs your focus to the colored eggs. i love playing around with edits!
I love how the color fades into the photo. It seems to give them a soft feel. Personally, I like the look of your edits!
