friday finds sunset edition

I was just cleaning, doing normal things. And then I went and glanced out the window and saw the prettiest sunset. I threw on my coat and hat and ran up the road and down the hill in the 11 degree weather so I could get a picture or 5. By the time I got there the sunset wasn't as impressive as it had been but either way I took some pictures. It was good exercise and by the time I got back in the house I felt like an ice cube. But yay, go me I got my butt outside and got some pictures!

It feels really good to be writing blog posts and taking pictures again. I think I may very well keep this up :)

 

Inspiration

I woke up earlier today and looked out my window and there were the prettiest shadows and sparkles. I ran outside and started taking pictures. I ended up in our woods and out in our neighbors field and it felt so nice to get outside and take pictures. I haven't actively taken pictures in a really long time and part of what made me want to get back into blogging was the fact that I missed photography. For example, one day when I woke up the little mirror that I have on my windowsill for when I do my makeup had this really cool looking outline of frost and dew around the mirror and it was so pretty. I kind of ruined the moment when I couldn't find my camera so I never actually took the picture but nevertheless it was really cool. 

Today seems to be the perfect winter day so I might go snowshoeing, who knows! See you next time blog world.

This is by far the saddest finale of all the seasons so far, literal tears running down my face!
